Aretha Franklin is allegedly down with a grave illness in Detroit, according to a reports. She's currently surrounded by family and friends and they have reportedly been told to prepare for the worst.
This is not good.
According to Showbiz 411, The Legendary Aretha Franklin is reportedly “gravely ill” and surrounded by family and friends in Detroit. Although There is no confirmation that the Queen of Soul has been hospitalized but Her family needs “prayers and privacy” at this time.
The 76-year old Grammy-winning star's health is reportedly failing and Her family and friends were reportedly told 2 weeks ago that she “could go at any time."
According to TMZ, Aretha's longtime friend was also told a week ago "Prepare yourself, she’s dying,”
Hollywoodlife claims the outlet reported that Aretha is allegedly battling cancer. She underwent surgery for a tumor in 2010 and reports emanating says that she had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the time, but the award winning legend denied the rumors in 2011.
Aretha was was forced to cancel a set of concerts earlier in April 2018, including the New Orleans’ Jazz Fest because of her health issues and was "ordered by her doctor to stay off the road and rest completely for at least the next two months" according to Hollywoodlife.
Aretha is evidently a legend and one of the greatest artists in the world. She did a great performance “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors to pay tribute to Carole King. Her remarkable performance on that day got tears dribbling down President Obama's face.
