MTV made the announcement on July 31 and no doubt she will be over excited. The 49-year old actress would be honored with the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at the 2018 VMAs in which she would also perform at the event for the first time since 2001. Thomas said the numbers he usually use to contact his daughter have been "disconnected" and no longer functioning . However, Anderson is boldly denying the claims. According to Hollywoodlife , the alleged incident had happened over a year ago but the woman filed a police report with Hollywood Division of LAPD earlier this year(2018). The woman in question claims that Anderson allegedly assaulted her the second time they met, just after the event she catered for him which he wanted to discuss more business opportunities with her.
